is an application designed to effectively track your cheeky buddies' physical and mental health, to ensure their well-being at all times.
Goal
To build a pet fitness app that's different from the existing ones and emphasizes ease of use and efficient pup health tracking to provide maximum value to the users.

My strategy was quite simple. It was to understand why pet fitness apps aren't mainstream, having such a huge population of pup owners. I wanted to understand what it is that's stopping them from being used by every pet parent, and come up with a solution that tackles exactly that.
Problem Identification

So, I started off with competitive analysis to understand what exists on the market and realize why they aren't going mainstream with the number of pet owners that exist, which led me to want to learn how many people on average actually understand the value and importance of pet health improvement and their knowledge source. This helped me reach two conclusions.
1. Lack of general awareness which is something for the marketing team is capable to solve.
2. Lack of proper tech and software integration that's intuitive yet super easy to use, which is exactly where I put my complete focus.
Identification Result
My solution was very straightforward. With the innovative and efficacious technology petfit holds, I needed to design a software interface that doesn’t overcomplicate, yet provides what’s necessary and beyond. So after multiple coffees, hours of brainstorming, and multiple user flows, I decided the flow below is the most efficient one, to achieve a seamless and clear navigation experience and decided to proceed with it.
Solution & User Flow
With the wireframes, I initially was all over the place and had no idea what theme I wanted to promote. I was confused if I wanted to go smart and simplistic or fun and playful. Although the app is built for pups the end users are people. Then I thought why not go playful, and simplistic and ended up on this design theme.

The result was an efficate solution that directly solves the accessibility and ease of usability issues users faced with other pet fitness apps, while still keeping the whole app fun to use and constantly reminding them that it indeed is built for our cheeky little friends.
